Expedite Your First Visit

Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling.

Dental Benefits are not the same as Medical Benefits. Dental Benefits and Insurance are services that help supplement the total cost of service. The specifics of your individual Dental Benefits or Insurance are unique to each individual plan. Plans are usually provided by your employer. Reimbursements, or coverage, will usually vary between preventive, restorative, and aesthetic treatment. Preventive services are usually reimbursed the most, with aesthetic services being covered the least. As with anything, Prevention is the best Medicine!

  • Premiums
    • Your premium is the “cost” you or your employer pays for dental benefits.
  • Deductibles
    • Your deductible is the amount of money your dental benefit company expects you to contribute before they begin contributing. These usually restart at the beginning of a new year.
  • Yearly Maximum
    • This is the “limit” that a dental benefits company will contribute to your dental care. This amount will usually cover preventive services, such as cleanings, exams, and radiographs, in full, but will not cover extensive restorative services or aesthetic treatment in full. Taking great care of your teeth with regular brushing, flossing, and routine visits is the best way to not only ensure a healthy mouth and a healthy body, but to also make the most of your dental benefits! Again, Prevention is the best Medicine!
  • Inflation
    • As is with anything else, inflation affects dental materials as well. Putting off your dental care for later will not only be detrimental to your health but will also be more costly for your dental and financial well-being.
